Ⅰ. What is Titanium?
Titanium is a silver gray metal with atomic number 22. Titanium is often alloyed with other metals, such as Aluminum, Molybdenum, and Vanadium. The addition of these metals helps to obtain desirable properties such as improved strength, corrosion resistance, and reduced weight.
It’s suitable for applications and environments where the properties of stainless steel are not sufficient.
